Data Deletion Request

How to Request Deletion

Send an email to our Privacy team at privacy@zuwac.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Include the email address registered to your ZUWAC account so we can locate your data.

We will send a verification email to confirm you own the account before processing the request. Once verified, your data will be deleted within 30 days and you will receive a confirmation email when complete.

Steps

1. Email privacy@zuwac.com with subject "Data Deletion Request".
2. Include the email address on your ZUWAC account.
3. Confirm your identity via the verification email we send you.
4. Your data will be deleted within 30 days. We will email you when done.

What Gets Deleted

• Your account profile, name, email address, and password
• Creator profile, bio, portfolio samples, and linked social accounts
• Gigs, packages, and any unpublished drafts
• Private messages and conversation history
• Notification preferences and saved searches
• Profile photo and any media uploads stored by ZUWAC

What We May Retain

Some records must be kept for legal, financial, or safety reasons:

• Completed order records — required for financial auditing and tax compliance (retained for 7 years).
• Payment and payout history — Stripe retains transaction records independently; ZUWAC keeps references for dispute resolution.
• Reviews you received or left — may be retained in anonymised form to maintain platform integrity.
• Fraud / abuse flags — if your account was flagged for Terms of Service violations, a record may be kept to prevent re-registration.
• Legal hold data — data subject to a pending legal investigation cannot be deleted until resolved.

Timeline

• Within 24 hours — we send a verification email after receiving your request.
• Within 30 days — your data is permanently deleted once your identity is verified.
• Upon completion — we send a final confirmation email.

Facebook & Instagram Users

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to ZUWAC, we store only the access tokens and public profile data you authorised. Revoking ZUWAC's access from your Facebook App Settings will immediately prevent future data access. To delete data we have already stored, email privacy@zuwac.com.
