ZUWAC is a creator marketplace operated by Fexify. We connect brands and buyers with verified content creators for digital marketing, design, writing, and more.

This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered at zuwac.com and our mobile applications. By creating an account or using ZUWAC, you agree to the practices described here.

What We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate the platform and provide our services.

Account Information

• Name, email address, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text)
• Profile photo and bio
• Role on the platform (buyer, creator, or admin)
• Date of account creation and last login

Creator Profile Data

• Linked social media handles (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook)
• Follower and engagement metrics fetched from connected platforms
• Portfolio samples, gig descriptions, and package pricing
• Verification status and identity documents (if submitted)

Transaction & Payment Data

• Order history, gig packages purchased, and delivery status
• Payment method tokens managed by Stripe (we do not store raw card numbers)
• Payout details for creator Stripe Connect accounts
• Platform fee and earnings records

Usage & Technical Data

• Pages visited, search queries, and feature interactions
• IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Session cookies and authentication tokens
• Error logs and performance diagnostics

Communications

• Messages exchanged between buyers and creators within the platform
• Support tickets and resolution notes
• Notifications and email preferences

How We Use Your Data

We use your data only for the purposes listed below. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

• Platform Operation — to create and manage your account, facilitate orders, process payments, and deliver core marketplace features.
• Creator Discovery — to surface creator profiles in search results based on skills, verified metrics, and buyer preferences.
• Communications — to send transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets), platform notifications, and marketing updates with your consent.
• Analytics & Improvements — to understand how the platform is used so we can fix bugs and improve features.
• Safety & Fraud Prevention — to detect suspicious activity, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect users from fraud or abuse.
• Legal Compliance — to meet our obligations under applicable laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

Third-Party Services

ZUWAC integrates with the following external services, each governed by its own privacy policy.

• Meta (Facebook & Instagram) — used to verify creator social accounts and fetch public follower counts via the Meta Graph API, and to enable Facebook Login.
• Google (YouTube) — used to verify creator YouTube channels and fetch public subscriber and view metrics via the YouTube Data API.
• Cloudinary — used to store and serve profile photos, portfolio images, and other media uploads.
• Stripe — handles all payment processing, escrow, and creator payouts via Stripe Connect. ZUWAC never stores raw card numbers.
• Resend — powers our transactional and notification emails. Your email address is shared with Resend solely to deliver messages you expect from ZUWAC.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

• Active account data is kept for as long as your account remains open.
• Order and payment records are retained for 7 years for financial and tax compliance.
• Deleted account data is purged within 30 days, except where legal holds apply.
• Anonymised or aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable data protection laws.

• Right of Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate information in your account settings or by contacting us.
• Right to Erasure — request deletion of your account and personal data. See our Data Deletion page.
• Right to Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Right to Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
